One Year

It has been a very long time since I last wrote, and a lot has happened. Will is now 13 and a half months, boy how time has flown. We celebrated his birthday on his birthday which was May 30. He took his first steps about 3 to 4 weeks ago, altough he still mostly crawls. He can say a few words such as mama (it come out as ma most of the time), and his favorite word is go. He is a lot of fun to be with because he is always happy. He loves to smile and laugh, and he loves to play. He is still a pretty good eater, his favorite food being fruit. He packs his cheecks full like a squirrel, it is very cute. He growls when he gets frustrated and he will not let other kids take his toys; he's a fighter. He is very social and loves other little kids, he always waves to them. His cousins can always make him laugh.

Coming alive

Will has finally unclinched his hands and has started to grab and reach for things, mainly fingers and a specific rattle. When I feed him he constantly tries to hold my fingers. He is so cute! Today he even gave me a little laugh; it was just once but it was there. He has been so happy today, probably the happiest he has been all week.

On Monday we tried to change his formula from Enfamil Gentlease to Enfamil Lipil. What a mistake. I should have remembered from Eisley that you never change their formula once you have found one that works. This week has not been easy. He was spitting up a lot, he was fussy, wasn't taking good naps, and most importantly he was not sleeping through the night. However, once I decided to give him his regular formula again he has done much better. WHAT WAS I THINKING!!!!!

Last week he actualy started taking good naps, and he started sleeping twelve hours. This was heaven for Alex and I. Has been such a cute little guy today. I love him so much.
